Studio-Method is a research-led architecture and design practice based in Rotterdam rethinking the role of waste and reuse in today’s material culture. Their work spans furniture, scenography, interiors, and architecture, from design to construction, with a commitment to regenerative and convivial forms of making.

Florian Scheucher is a postdisciplinary researcher and recording artist, currently engaged as a Senior Lecturer in architectural design and theory at GUtech in Muscat, Oman. They hold an undergraduate degree in Architecture from TU Graz, Austria, and a MA Architecture from the Royal College of Art, London. They release music under the name a wave, a mouth;, on Accidental Ltd, Industrial Coast, Dragon’s Eye Recordings and others, and their architectural work has been exhibited in London, Rome and Austria (undisciplined.space ).

Lida Badafareh and Mehrshad Atashi are founding partners of mershandlee, an
architecture and design studio based in Vienna. Lida and Mehrshad both hold a Master of Arts in Architecture from Städelschule in Frankfurt and a doctorate in architecture from the University of Innsbruck.

Franz Ollertz and Maura Schmitt are architecture practitioners and
investigate the potential of overlooked spaces. Together, they envision
narratives for obsolete structures through collaborative dialogue, currently applying these ideas on an actual construction site. 

Franz is a member of almost.international and has been a student assistant at the Institut für Wohnbau at TU Vienna since 2023. 

Maura is a member of asphalt Kollektiv für Architektur and lostandfoundkollektiv, teaching at the Institut für Architekturtechnologie at TU Graz and at the Forschungsbereich Hochbau 1 at TU Vienna since 2025.

Luís Filipe Carreno is an architect from Porto de Mós and based in Porto. He studied at Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade do Porto and at Università Iuav di Venezia. He graduated in 2023 with a thesis on the work of António A. Aurélio and currently works at Brandão Costa Arquitectos.

Svenja Hollstein graduated with a Diploma in Architecture from Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) in 2017 and subsequently worked in an architectural practice in Basel, Switzerland. She then returned to academia, teaching at RPTU Kaiserslautern in the fields of urban design (“Stadtbaukunst und Entwerfen”) and spatial design (“Raumgestalt und Entwerfen”). Since 2021, she has been affiliated with TU Graz, where she completed her PhD in 2024. Her current research focuses on densification strategies and their architectural and spatial implications. Alongside her academic work, she founded the practice studio.monadio in 2024 and has served as a townscape expert (ASVK) since 2025.

Catarina Bessa Lucas, visual artist (Porto, Portugal, 1997) lives and works in Porto. She has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts – Painting, at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto University (FBAUP). In recent years, she has exhibited both individual and collectively, mainly in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid.
João Montenegro Taveira, architect (Lamego, Portugal, 1996) lives and works in Porto. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) and at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He works at JFCG Arquitectos office and has developed work independently and in collaboration with the Fpoetics studio.

Harvest Salon is working at the intersection of process design and artistic practice. Through film, research, and collaborative formats, we explore new forms of engagement with Alpine landscapes. We aim to establish cross-regional communities grounded in shared responsibilities for common resources.

Ena Kukić (born Sarajevo, 1990) works in architecture through research, practice, and teaching, exploring spatial frameworks of collective memory. Her design projects and PhD identify and reinterpret architectural typologies, cultivating spaces of collectivity and participation.

João and Marija Urbaite co-founded URBAITE in Zurich, a practice dedicated to architecture and research, exploring the tensions and contradictions
between them. Both graduated from the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, where João has taught at the structural design chair of Prof. Mario Monotti. Marija is currently a lecturer at ETH Zurich. They occasionally contribute to public lectures, academic reviews, and architectural writings

Allan Mensah was born in Lomé, Togo. He lives and works in Paris. Allan Mensah graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Lyon in 2022.
Allan Mensah Allan Mensah works on the imaginaries of border territories and architecture as a means of collective communication. His work operates between architecture, interior design, and artistic practice, combining video, publishing, installation, built projects, and theoretical inquiry.

Tom Biela, born 1987, works as a cross-disciplinary bricoleur in the fields of art, photography, and model-making. Collections form the foundation of his work. Everyday observations provide the impulses. Conceptual series emerge from material experiments and analyses. He co-founded the collective and label GUKUBI MATO 愚首魔徒 with Martin Guevara-Kunerth. Their work spans multimedia projects exploring perception mechanisms, physical phenomena, technological progress, decay, and personal transformation.

ARRA is short for ARhitektonska RAdiona, a not-for-profit research and design collective based in Sarajevo, dedicated to exploring speculative, experimental and critical approaches to urban practices. ARRA was founded in 2023 by Dunja Krvavac, Irhana Šehović and Nikola Ostojić, architects and friends, aiming to challenge how architecture and urbanism are perceived, understood and practiced by connecting local contexts with global practices.

Jonah Burgsteiner, Momo Francesca Canzian, Fabian Fazio, Lena Flora Maierhofer und Max Benjamin Spamer waren Teil der banale potenziale. Auf eine 48-stündige nonstop Intervention im Straßenraum folgten eine Ausstellung und eine gleichnamige Publikation. Sie bewegen sich
seitdem im Feld zwischen Architektur und Kulturarbeit.

studionuvolari works with abstractions, treating every project as an occasion to think architectonically and before specificity. It moves deliberately between academia, speculative research and profession, theory and construction. Each work is approached as a variation of the same enduring task: to inventively draw on figures and dispose space, through which knowledge may be architectonically proportioned. In this manner, studionuvolari seeks architecture as a rational and poetic act: each time anew, and never anew.

studionuvolari is an architecture office based in Italy, founded in 2020 by Kornel Lewicki and Lorenzo Vicari. 

Lindsey Krug is an American designer and educator. She is Assistant Professor of Architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and has practiced at Studio Gang and WOJR, among others. Krug was a co-recipient of the 2023 Architectural League Prize in New York and a recipient of the 2024 ACSA New Faculty Teaching Award.

Radu Remus Macovei is a Romanian architect as well as a Lecturer and Doctoral Fellow at ETH – Zurich. He practiced with Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Herzog & de Meuron, among others. He completed undergraduate studies at the AA and graduated with a Master in Architecture with Distinction and a Master of Urban Planning with Distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design where he was awarded the Julia A. Appleton Fellowship.

Edward Wang is a Canadian designer who leads digital media at Herzog & de Meuron in Basel. Previously, he worked for offices in Toronto, Tokyo, New York, and Boston. He completed a Master in Architecture with Distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Design where he received the AIA Henry Adams Medal. He completed his undergraduate degree at Yale University.

Sebastian Bietenhader and Matthias Moroder have been working together as Büro Bietenhader Moroder since 2015 on intentional sameness and the formal characteristics of public housing.

Sebastian Bietenhader, studied Architecture ETH Zurich (BSc.) and at the Harvard GSD, as well as history and philosophy of knowledge, also at the ETH Zurich (MA.), lives and works as an Architect in Zurich and has thought architecture at several institutions.

Matthias Moroder studied architecture (AA Dipl.) at the Architectural Association in London, art history (BA) and philosophy (BA) at the University of Vienna and history and theory of architecture (MAS) at the ETH Zurich. He is co-directing the exhibition space MAGAZIN as well as the Vienna Architecture Summer School and is pursuing a PhD in art history at the University of Vienna.
